The only medium that reaches people while they drive, work and cook.

- How Pricing Works
Why airtime
isn’t one price.
Radio is sold by the spot, but the price of a spot swings on which station carries it, what time of day it airs and how many you book. Drive-time on a national station and mid-morning on a community station are completely different products.
That’s why we quote rather than publish. Send the brief, and you’ll have real numbers from every option worth considering, within one working day.

- Radio Advertising FAQ
Straight answers.
How much does radio advertising cost in South Africa?
It depends on the station, the time of day, the length of the spot and how many you book. A community station is a fraction of a national one. Send us the brief and we’ll quote every station worth considering within one working day, at the station’s own rate.
What is a daypart?
Radio splits the day into blocks – breakfast, mid-morning, drive-time and so on. Drive-time carries the highest rate because the most people are listening in their cars.
Is a 15 or 30-second spot better?
Thirty seconds is the standard for delivering a message. Fifteen works once people already know you and you only need to remind them.
What’s the difference between a spot and a live read?
A spot is pre-produced and plays as an advert. A live read is the presenter reading your message in their own voice, which listeners trust more because it comes from someone they know.
Do you produce the advert?
Yes. We can write the script, cast the voice and add music, then deliver it to the station at the correct length and quality.
